Esporao - Viticulture

The hot summer days and cool nights are ideal conditions for the ripening of the grapes. The diverse soil composition of predominantly volcanic rock and slate give the wine a certain minerality. In combination with the oceanic breeze from the Atlantic Ocean, the whole is rounded off. The terroir combined with the knowledge of the winemakers, honed over generations, contributes significantly to the excellence of the drop, making each wine represents a piece of Portugal.
