At the beginning of the 20th century, the visionary Giulio Ferrari had a dream to create a very special wine in Trentino.

Winery Ferrari - A long lived dream

It was to be so good that it would not shy away from comparison with the best noble drops of France. The resourceful wine connoisseur gained the necessary expertise at the Viticultural Institute in Montpellier. With his extensive knowledge of classic bottle fermentation and Champagne, he selected a contender named Bruno Lunelli as his companion. With him, Giulio Ferrari began a collaboration that would make his dream come true. The Ferrari Winery was created. Under the management of the Lunelli family, a little later it established itself as one of the most important Italian companies in the production of spumante. And this success continues to this day.

High commitment, many prizes at the Ferrari winery

The Ferrari winery has received many awards. The title of"Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year" in 2015 was followed in the same year by the award as"European Winery of the Year" by the U.S. trade magazine"Wine Enthusiast". With the management quartet around Alessandro, Matteo, Marcello and Camilla, the winery today occupies a top position in Italy. It is already the third family generation that continues to live Giulio Ferrari's dream. The secret of success is not only the knowledge but also the particularly high commitment of a professionally competent team, where the pursuit of harmonious cooperation is a high priority. 

Organic viticulture - also at Ferrari

Over the years, more and more vineyards have been added to the Ferrari winery. These vineyards reach higher and higher altitudes and gradually all cultivated areas were adapted to the maxims of organic viticulture in order to protect nature and the environment more and more. However, there is another reason for the focus on organic viticulture. For example, the quality of the internationally known and popular Spumanti should also be improved in the future. Thus, the Ferrari winery sees itself equipped to survive in the highly competitive markets of the future.
