More information about J. Charpentier Réserve Brut 0,375 l - Champagne J. Charpentier

The J. Charpentier Réserve Brut, crafted by Champagne J. Charpentier in Champagne, offers a bright, light red color in the wine glass. The perlage of this sparkling wine shimmers in the glass with very fine bubbles and is extraordinarily persistent. After the first swirl, one can perceive an unparalleled balance in this sparkling wine, as it does not appear watery, syrupy, or liqueur-like on the sides of the glass. The bouquet of this sparkling wine from Champagne impresses with nuances of pear and lemon. Following the aromas further, mint/melissa appear.

Thanks to its lively acidity, the J. Charpentier Réserve Brut presents itself on the palate as wonderfully fresh and vibrant. On the finish, this sparkling wine from the Champagne wine-growing region finally delights with a beautiful length. Hints of lemon and pear appear once again. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the limestone-dominated soils also join in.

Vinification of Champagne J. Charpentier J. Charpentier Réserve Brut

The well-balanced J. Charpentier Réserve Brut from France is a cuvée, vinified from the grape varieties Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. In Champagne, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on limestone soils. After hand-picking, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. There, they are sorted and carefully crushed. The fermentation of the base wines then follows.
