La Pinède Costières de Nîmes AOC - Picard Vins & Spiritueux

La Pinède Costières de Nîmes AOC from Picard Vins & Spiritueux is a wonderful red wine cuvée vinified from Grenache (70%), Syrah (20%) and Mouvedre (10%). 

In the glass shows in a dense, intense ruby red with purple tones. The lush, fruity and aromatic bouquet offers aromas of fresh raspberries, juicy cherries, cooked fruits (blackberries, black currants) and spices such as pepper and licorice. On the palate, this French red wine is round, elegant and velvety, with a delicately integrated tannin structure, good body and a long presence on the finish.

Vinification of Picard La Pinède Costières de Nîmes

The hand-harvested fully ripe grapes from Picard Vins & Spiritueux are first destemmed, crushed and the resulting must is fermented in stainless steel tanks under temperature control. The mash is then pressed and this red wine ages for a while in the tanks before being bottled.
