Les Vignobles Bernard Magrez

in 1961, Bernard Magrez, from Bordeaux, started working as a wine merchant. He began working for the Cordier Group and thus discovered the profession for himself. As early as 1964, he then founded his own company and began to hand spirits. in 1983, Bernard Magrez finally acquired Château Pape Clément and thus entered the production and trade of Grand Cru wines from Bordeaux. The estates Château La Tour Carnet, Château Fombrauge and Clos Haut-Peyraguey followed.

Today, the company owns vineyards all over the world and has 43 estates and more than 1000 hectares of vines. Bernard Magrez also founded a cultural institute for street art, which he sees as a bridge between tradition and modernity. There is also a 5-star hotel in the group, in the attached restaurant can be enjoyed almost 300 wines of the highest quality.
