Château des Jacques Moulin à Vent AOC 2018 - Louis Jadot
Prices incl. VAT plus shipping costs
The Moulin à Vent AOC Château by Jacques von Louis Jadot appears wonderfully dense and bright cherry red in the glass. Its powerful bouquet enchants with red and black and fine spicy notes. The full-bodied and juicy taste has the structure and power typical of a Jadot Moulin-à-Vent. The palate is full of fruity nuances of raspberries, blackberries and blackcurrants. The fruity fullness is underlined by vanilla, cedar wood and a fine smoky note. The tannins are fine-grained and well integrated in the body. The long and persistent finish reveals all the promising potential of this Cru Beaujolais.
Vinification of the Moulin à Vent AOC Château des Jacques by Louis Jadot
Under the management of Guillaume de Castelnau, the vines of Château des Jacques are biodynamically cultivated. The healthy and highly ripe grapes are strictly selected and completely destemmed. The fermentation in stainless steel tanks takes place slowly in approx. 21 days on the mash. Afterwards, the wine is aged for eight months in barrique barrels made of French oak.
Serving suggestion/food pairing
We recommend game dishes, juicy roasted duck breast, leek quiche with bacon, smoked ham or a classic Boeuf Bourguignon.
