Paolo Manzone

In Serralunga d'Alba, a small village in Piedmont, Luisella and Paolo Manzone's winery is located in the middle of the Cru "Meriame" vineyard, which has been in Luisella's family for generations. Paolo himself used to be a wine consultant and in 1999, together with his wife, he founded his winery, which has vineyards on both sides of the family. The estate is located in an old farmhouse, which currently has a vineyard area of 14 hectares.

Vinification

The winery never uses exclusively new barrels in order to preserve the fruit of the Nebbiolo grape and the typicality of the terroir. A mixture of new and old wood, as well as amphorae, ensures an optimal result.

The Green Experience

Paolo Manzone is part of "The Green Experience", a project that certifies sustainable Piedmontese wines. Thus, the wines also offer something for the good conscience. The owner himself says that he can already see the effects in the plant life in the surrounding area.
