The story of Poderi dal Nespoli is told by four generations of Romagna winemakers who have believed deeply in their terroir and its vines and have increased their yields through constant development and improvement.Since 2010 there has been a partnership between the Ravaioli's and the Mondodelvino - Group, thus Poderi dal Nespoli wines are present in many international markets , also thanks to the most modern technology introduced in all stages of grape processing and refinement.
The first generation - A restaurant, a dance hall and the back of a jaguar
Attilio Ravaiolir, son of the Castello dei Guidi, opened in 1920 in Cusecoli one of the most famous trattorias in the Bidente Valley - the Osteria "Da Tilio". In a very short time it became one of the most sought-after destinations for Romagna locals in the region. You became famous, for example, for your incomparable terracotta roast, your homemade ice cream and gazzosa, and above all for the dance hall in the beautiful courtyard. The tavern on the banks of the Bidente soon became a regular destination for fishermen from Bologna who, after lunch, filled the trunks of their sports cars, including, of course, the coveted Jaguar, with plenty of house wine. It was precisely because of the high demand for home-made Sangiovese that Attilio decided to start expanding the cellar in 1929.

The second generation - from the Bidente Valley to the Riviera - F.lli Ravaioli
Antonio and Amleto now took over the destiny of the family business and decided to relinquish the management of the restaurant in order to devote themselves entirely to winemaking. The Podere Prugneto and the first Sangiovese from their own grapes now grow in the family . The two brothers decide to expand their market by focusing on the Riviera . Thus was born the label F.lli Ravaioli, with which Antonio and Amleto began to bottle their wines, which until then had been sold in bulk, in glass bottles. The good response was immediate and drove the brothers to experiment with new wines. The first two whites, based on Albana and Trebbiano, were created. Meanwhile, Valerio , the third Ravaioli generation, was already learning from his father Amleto and his uncle Antonio .
The third generation - From the Ravaioli brothers to Prugneto is born Poderi dal Nespoli.
Then, in the 1960s, it was Valerio who set new directions for the business. He was convinced that Sangiovese di Romagna was a vine from which you could make very good wine. For this reason he decided to introduce two elementary innovations, he decided to reduce the production of grapes per hectare and for the first time to use French barriques to age the wines. " Others make Sangiovese, we make Prugneto ".

The fourth generation: Gambero Rosso and Mondodelvino.
For 20 years supporting her father Valerio in the vineyard and in the cellar it is in 2004 for the first time Celita who makes wine. She watched her grandfather, father and uncle and participated in the harvests since childhood. Celita and Fabio are now adults and like them, the wine they produce is great.
Today, after now more than ninety years, their wines reach around 30 countries around the world. Besides the vocation and passion of all generations in the production of wine, the generous and exclusive hospitality that has always existed , you are characteristic of this Romagna area.
