Vinification of Winery Bediani Rkatsiteli
The basis for the balanced Rkatsiteli from Kakheti is grapes of the Rkatsiteli variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Kakheti. Here the vines drive their roots deep into soils of volcanic rock and black earth. After the grape harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery immediately. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
