Tenuta di Vignole is picturesquely nestled in the gentle hills of the Chianti region, three kilometers from Panzano.
Wines from Italy’s treasure chest
The Italian winery belongs to the Nistri family. When they took it over in 1970, they were anything but beginners. The Nistri family has been active in the wine business as winemakers since 1865 and thus brought with them more than 100 years of experience. And it is a pleasure for the eye and the palate to see and taste precisely this experience.
Tenuta di Vignole also offers excellent conditions for producing top Italian wines. With great passion but also a sense of responsibility, the Nistris vinify their fine wines here. The vines thrive in renowned top sites such as “La Conca d'Oro,” the golden basin in the heart of the Chianti area. The winemakers are fully committed, and not only to the grapes and their processing, but also to nature. One of the fundamental principles of these winemakers is therefore: “Naturalness and sustainability”. For example, one can enjoy the wines of Tenuta di Vignole with the awareness that they are free from artificial additives and carefully produced. The same applies to the vinification and barrel aging.
The result of all these efforts is nothing less than the fact that Tenuta di Vignole produces wines with the finest characteristics of Chianti.

Tenuta di Vignole winery – wines with a velvety character
The Di Vignole estate was built as early as around 1500. In total it comprises 21 hectares of land, 14 of which are under vine. The vineyards are located at an altitude of roughly 300 meters and face southeast or southwest. They are all set in an incomparable landscape, characterized by olive groves and cypresses. Here the vines find ideal conditions in the closely planted rows, as the climate in the Panzano region is temperate and warm. In the height of summer, rainfall is just right for viticulture. Thanks to these ideal conditions, for example, the Sangiovese grape develops its power and its full ruby-red color. What further distinguishes the wines of Tenuta di Vignole is
- their vibrancy
- a velvety character
- as well as aromas
that harmonize perfectly with one another.

Top wines from Conca d’Oro
Chianti can by now probably be regarded as the best-known synonym for Italian wine. No wonder, since the Chianti region is the largest wine-growing area in Tuscany. For Chianti Classico, the Nistri winemakers use their Sangiovese. It delivers the most elegant and typical expression of the terroir. The wine matures in oak barrels made of Slovenian oak in the deep cellars of the estate, which protect from heat. This is where the finest Tuscan red wines to be found in the Conca d'Oro are stored. A winery with a small treasure cellar, so to speak. It’s worth trying.
