In the San Joaquin Valley are located the winery and vineyards of Weston. Each grape variety comes from their own vineyards, so that always influence and years of experience can affect the quality of the grapes. This growing area is characterized by sandy to clayey soils. Approaching the Sierra Nevada, the soil is interspersed with boulders. 

The summer heat in the San Joaquin Valley is moderated by the cool evening winds - this climate offers ideal conditions for the Chardonnay grape variety. This allows the grapes to develop a beautiful fruit and pleasant acidity. But not only for the Chardonnay, but also for the other grape varieties, the vineyard location and the climate give rise to wonderful wines.
