The multifaceted origin of Zsirai Winery

This young estate began in two thousand and five with the vision of the father. Today, the sisters Kata and Petra Zsirai proudly and diligently carry this legacy forward. The family cultivates its own vineyards in three of the country’s most important locations. The center of production lies in the picturesque village of Mád in the midst of the famous Tokaj region. We greatly value this focus on purity and the preservation of cultural heritage. The wines are made exclusively from grapes grown in the family’s own vineyards.

Regional uniqueness at Zsirai Winery

The vineyards in Tokaj are characterized by their precious volcanic soils. These soils lend the wines distinctive minerality and deep structure. The estate owns parcels in top sites such as the Középhegy hill and Szent Tamás. In addition to Tokaj, the family also produces wines on the basalt of the small Somló hill. In the warm south of Villány, powerful and elegant red wines are created for discerning palates. This diversity of terroirs offers an exciting selection for every taste and occasion.
