Vinification of the Duca di Salaparuta 12 advantage package

The basis for the elegant 12 advantage pack from Sicily are grapes from the Nerello Cappuccio, Nerello Mascalese and Nero d'Avola varieties. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Sicily. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of limestone and sandstone. Clearly, the 12 advantage package is also determined by climate and viticultural style Terre Siciliane IGT. This Italian can literally be described as an Old World wine that is exceptionally impressive. The fact that the Nerello Cappuccio, Nerello Mascalese and Nero d'Avola grapes thrive under the influence of a warm climate also has a considerable influence on the development of the vintage. This manifests itself, among other things, in particularly well ripened grapes and rather high alcohol content in the wine. After the manual harvest, the grapes are taken to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the 12er Vorteils-Paket can continue to harmonize for a few months on the fine lees.... Aging in wooden barrels is followed by considerable bottle aging, which makes this rosé wine even more complex.

Food recommendation to the Duca di Salaparuta 12er advantage package

This Italian is best enjoyed moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to asparagus salad with quinoa, Thai cucumber salad or arugula penne.
