The basis for the elegant Corvo Rosa Terre Siciliane from Sicily are grapes from the Nerello Cappuccio, Nerello Mascalese and Nero d'Avola grape varieties. In Sicily, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on limestone and sandstone soils. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn off.
