In the region with the highest vineyards in the world, the Bodegas produces its Portillo wines, among others. The conditions for growing grapes there are ideal, as low-salt water from the Andes is available for irrigation all year round, and there is enough heat and sufficient hours of sunshine. As it cools at night, this results in a long ripening period. The architecture of the winery of blends perfectly with the landscape, since only natural stone was used.
