The Little Bear White from Oliver Zeter is an aromatic cuvée from the Palatinate region that delights with lots of exotic fruit, juicy play and moderate alcohol. The delicate yellow wine delights on the nose with aromas of yellow stone fruits such as mirabelle and apricot. Floral notes, some elderflower and a nuance of lychee complement.

On the palate, Oliver Zeter kleiner Bär Weiß is juicy, fruit-driven and beautifully melting. The Müller-Thurgau gives this wine the structure, the grape varieties Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc provide the aromatic momentum. Very successful and a great wine for during the week.

The drinking bear with human features on the wine labels was penned by a Palatinate artist who dedicated it to his friend Walter Baer, Oliver Zeter's great-grandfather, in the 1930s.

Vinification of the Little Bear White

For Oliver Zeter's Der kleine Bär Weiß, the grape variety Müller-Thurgau forms the structure-giving foundation, grown on 25-year-old vines. For the cuvée, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and other bouquet varieties are added. The vineyards are located on sandy soils in the Diedesfeld and Hambach districts. Fermentation takes place at controlled cool temperatures to preserve the primary aroma of the grape varieties.

Food recommendation for the Zeter Der kleine Bär Weiss

This dry white wine is a wonderfully entertaining wine for every day, as a summer wine on the terrace or with light salads and fish dishes.
