A6mani Wines from Puglia

For several generations, the two winemaking families have been linked by the same vineyards, always passing on their knowledge and skills. But it was only in 2011 that the three cousins Elise Clerfeuille and Francesca and Maria Cavallo realized the dream of their own winery in the village of Fragagnano, not far from Taranto, and since then they have been lovingly and passionately creating wines from the typical grape varieties of the region.

The name a6mani

The name a6mani translates as "to the six hands". Puglia is one of the most beautiful regions of Italy. Since the region is characterized by a very dry and hot climate with little rainfall, and the clay soils are also rather poor, the yields of grapes are naturally kept low.

Grape varieties from a6mani

It is precisely in this climate that two grape varieties typical of the region feel particularly at home, to which the women of a6mani devote their attention: Primitivo and Negroamaro. The result is a lush and full-bodied wine with a seductive hint of fruit thanks to the many hours of sunshine.
