The barrel-aged Akoom Kangun Reserve semi-sweet from the Wajoz Dzor wine-growing region presents itself in the white wine glass with a dense light yellow color. When swirling the glass, this white wine reveals a high density and richness, which is reflected in pronounced legs on the inside of the glass. The bouquet of this white wine from Wajoz Dzor seduces with hints of dried apricot and peach. If we pursue the aromas further, honey emerges, enhanced by the influence of oak.
On the palate, the powerful Mijnaberd Alco Akoom Kangun Reserve semi-sweet reveals an incredibly fruity taste, which is of course also due to its residual sweetness. On the finish, this youthful wine from the Wajoz Dzor region delights with a lovely length. Once again, hints of peach and dried apricot appear.
Vinification of the Akoom Kangun Reserve semi-sweet by Mijnaberd Alco
This powerful white wine from Armenia is vinified from the Kangun grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large wooden vats at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation for several months in French oak barrels.
