In Burgenland, on Lake Neusiedl on the border with Hungary is the winery Angerhof Tschida. founded in 1982 as a sideline, since 1993 the wines are produced full time.

Characteristic of the area is the Pannonian climate, which brings warm days and cool nights for wonderfully sweet grapes. The soils of the area are mainly gravel, sand and black earth, while brines provide a high mineral content.

70% of the vineyard area is planted with white varieties, which are used for the vinification of various sweet wines.
