More information about Auslese - Angerhof Tschida
This single varietal Austrian wine presents wonderfully expressive notes of blueberries, black currants, blackberries and mulberries in the glass. These are joined by hints of dark chocolate, roasted hazelnut and vanilla.
The Angerhof Tschida Muskat Ottonel Auslese presents us with an incredibly fruity taste on the palate, which is not least due to its residual sweet profile. On the palate, the texture of this light-footed dessert wine presents itself wonderfully light. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Muskat Ottonel Auslese is exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. The finale of this dessert wine from the wine-growing region of Burgenland, more precisely from Lake Neusiedl, finally impresses with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by black earth and sand.
Vinification of the Muskat Ottonel Auslese from Angerhof Tschida
The basis for the elegant Muskat Ottonel Auslese from Burgenland are grapes from the Muskat Ottonel grape variety. In Burgenland, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of sand and black earth. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
