Giuseppe, of the Maragliano family, encouraged his son Carlo to study oenology in Alba and, at his father's suggestion, he immediately set about making wine from one of the Langa's greatest grapes, Moscato. His passion and dedication knew no end.

The experience of previous generations was reflected in his work, along with a desire for innovation both in the vineyard and in the cellar: he challenged his land and himself by attempting something that had never been tried before on these lands dedicated to Moscato cultivation, becoming the first producer of a sparkling wine using traditional methods with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The unique pedoclimatic climate proved him right.

The wines of Borgo Maragliano reflect all the distinctive characteristics of the soil. Every wine is the result of passionate work, and every winemaker here must have a talent for extracting all that is beautiful and good from the grapes.
Everything is done with the utmost care, attention and respect for agronomic production techniques. The use of chemicals is kept to a minimum so that the environment is protected as much as possible.
Here they work to keep yields low to increase the quality of the wine obtained, taking into account the climatic conditions and the characteristics of the vintage.
