Bottega SpA

Disitillerie Bottega is created in 1977 by Aldo Bottega, patriarch and master distiller with more than 30 years of experience in the industry. The seat of the new company will be Pianzano. Aldo Bottega created the first distillery in his father's company in the 50s and 60s. Domenico Bottega was an experienced wine and spirits merchant since the 1920s, a passionate oenologist and himself the scion of a third-generation winemaking family. When Aldo Bottega died in 1983, his children Sandro, Barbara and Stefano took over the business. Together they create two years later, in 1985, the first hand-blown bottle and the grappa an innvoative, precious and elegant new image. in 1992 the "Vino dei Poeti" is born, a Prosecco sparkling wine that opens the company's entry into the wine world. 1995 sees the launch of Fragolino, a drink with a long tradition that shakes up the world of beverages. 2004 sees the birth of another innovative product, the "Grappa Spray", grappa in a small bottle with an atomizer. 2007 is an important year for the company: the new headquarters in Bibano are inaugurated, in a large 19th century farmhouse surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards. In the following years, 2009 and 2011, the company acquires two wineries in Valpolicella and in Montalcino (Tuscany), with the aim of controlling the production of Amarone and Brunello and the important red wines of these two areas themselves. In the same year 2011, in the historic headquarters in Pianzano, the new glassblowing workshop is opened. Here the artistic bottles for the Grappa Alexander are created. in 2013, Distillerie Bottega srl (Ltd.) increases its capital and becomes Bottega SpA (Ltd.). Today, the Bottega Group is a solid, strong company that distributes its products in over 120 countries and is present in a large number of duty-free stores in airports around the world.

Bottega SpA's product range includes the Alexander Grappa and Vodka brands, Bottega wines, sparkling wines, grappa and liqueurs.
