White gold – a promise already fulfilled by the noble bottle of White Gold Prosecco Spumante from Bottega, gleaming in elegant silver on the table and just waiting to be opened. The metallic-look bottle then reveals a drink that shines in the glass with a refined straw-yellow hue.
The long-lasting perlage of this sparkling wine – traditionally produced in Veneto – appears in the glass as very fine and remarkably persistent. When swirling the wineglass, this sparkling wine is distinguished by a wonderful brilliance that makes it dance lively in the glass. The bouquet of this sparkling wine from Northern Italy impresses with delicate floral hints of acacia, fruity nuances of ripe apple, and zesty lemon aromas. It is precisely its fruit-driven character that makes this wine so special.
Light-footed and multi-layered, this crisp Spumante also presents itself on the palate. The finish of this sparkling wine from the Veneto winegrowing region finally delights with a remarkable length.
Vinification of Bottega White Gold Prosecco Spumante
The basis for the first-class and wonderfully elegant White Gold Prosecco Spumante cuvée from Bottega is Chardonnay, Glera, and Pinot Noir grapes. White Gold Prosecco Spumante is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this Italian exudes an exceptional European charm that clearly underlines the success of wines from the Old World. After hand-picking, the grapes are placed in small crates and taken to the press house as quickly as possible, where, after pressing, the must and pomace are immediately separated. The base wines are vinified in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures; the perlage is then created by selected yeasts with daily pumping over. After stabilization, the Prosecco is filtered and bottled.
