Chardonnay - Dark Horse

Dark Horse's Chardonnay is a smooth, lively and varietally pure white wine from the American wine-growing region of California. 

In the glass, this wine sparkles in a bright yellow with golden reflections and inspires with its lively bouquet, which is carried by the aromas of peaches, tropical fruits and baked apple. A hint of caramel adds that certain something. This Californian white wine is vinified exclusively from Chardonnay and seduces on the palate with notes of vanilla and oak. Buttery notes lead into a soft, long and creamy finish.

Vinification of Dark Horse Chardonnay 

After the Chardonnay grapes are harvested, they are first fermented in stainless steel tanks in Dark Horse's winery. Subsequently, this wine also undergoes malolactic fermentation. This gives this American white wine its wonderful melt. Finally, this wine sur Lie is aged in American and French oak barrels.
