The Château Les Rambauds Bordeaux Supérieur of Yvon Mau presents itself bright cherry red in the glass. The nose is dominated by aromas of red and black berry fruits, licorice and cedar. Filigree notes of vanilla and toast complement the expressive, complex bouquet. On the palate, this French red wine impresses with its full flavor and well-structured, fleshy texture. A soft, balanced finish rounds out this delightful red wine.
Vinification of the Château Les Rambauds Cuvée Bordeaux Supérieur
This wonderful cuvée is vinified from Merlot (40%), Cabernet Sauvignon (30%), Malbec (20%) and Cabernet Franc (10%) grapes.
After the grapes are harvested, they are destemmed, crushed and the resulting must is fermented in stainless steel tanks under temperature control. This wine is then aged for 12 months in American oak barriques.
