More information about Châteauneuf-Du-Pape Rouge AOP - Maison Tardieu-Laurent
With the Maison Tardieu-Laurent Châteauneuf-Du-Pape Rouge, a first-class organic red wine finds its way into the glass. It displays a wonderfully dense, purplish-red color. When the glass is swirled, this red wine reveals high viscosity, which shows in pronounced church windows on the rim of the glass. The bouquet of this red wine from the Rhône Valley delights with notes of blackberry and strawberry. Following the aromas further, eucalyptus and mint/balm emerge.
This red from Maison Tardieu-Laurent is the right choice for all those who prefer as little residual sweetness in wine as possible. At the same time, it never appears meager or austere, but rather round and smooth. On the palate, the texture of this powerful red wine presents itself as wonderfully velvety. Thanks to its lively acidity, the Châteauneuf-Du-Pape Rouge appears exceptionally fresh and vibrant on the palate. The finish of this highly age-worthy red wine from the Rhône Valley wine-growing region, more precisely from Cotes du Rhone Villages, ultimately captivates with a remarkable length.
Vinification of the Maison Tardieu-Laurent Châteauneuf-Du-Pape Rouge
The powerful Châteauneuf-Du-Pape Rouge from France is a cuvée, organically vinified from the grape varieties Grenache and Syrah. After hand-picking, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the organically produced Châteauneuf-Du-Pape Rouge is aged for several months in oak barriques.
