Vinification of the Côtes du Rhône Blanc from Chateau de l'Estagnol

This balanced white wine from France is cuvée’d from the Marsanne and Viognier grape varieties. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Rhône. Here, the vines sink their roots deep into limestone and marl soils. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally racked.

This white wine from France is perfectly suited to a wide variety of dishes, but is also a pleasure to drink on its own.
