More information about Côtes du Rhône Samorens Rouge AOP - Ferraton Père & Fils

The Côtes du Rhône Samorens Rouge from the Rhône wine-growing region presents a dense purple color in the glass. This French cuvée reveals in the glass wonderfully expressive notes of plums, blueberries, black currants and mulberries. These are joined by hints of other fruits.

This French wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally low residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Frenchman enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Taste does not necessarily require much residual sugar. In the finish, this youthful red wine from the Rhône wine-growing region finally delights with beautiful length. Once again, hints of black currant and blackberry show.

Vinification of the Ferraton Père & Fils Côtes du Rhône Samorens Rouge

The basis for the powerful Côtes du Rhône Samorens Rouge from Rhône are grapes from the Grenache and Syrah varieties. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Côtes du Rhône Samorens Rouge can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months....
