More information about Curious Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc - Marisco

With the Marisco Curious Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc comes a first-class white wine into the swirled glass. In this it presents a wonderfully brilliant, light yellow color. Poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from New Zealand reveals wonderfully expressive aromas of pink grapefruit, grapefruit, kumquat and orange, rounded off by firewood, cocoa bean and smoked meat.

On the palate, Marisco's Curious Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc opens wonderfully dry, grippy and aromatic. With its present fruit acidity, the Curious Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc is wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate.

Vinification of the Marisco Curious Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc

The basis for the elegant Curious Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand South Island are grapes from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes grow under optimal conditions on New Zealand's South Island. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of clay and gravel. After harvesting, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by a few months of aging on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn into bottles.

Food recommendation for the Marisco Curious Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc

This New Zealander is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to stir-fried vegetables with fish, coconut-lime fish curry or roasted trout with ginger pear.
