The Grand Reserve Stellenbosch of Delheim is the flagship, the icon wine of Delheim. An absolute must for all collectors of overseas wines. The Grand Reserve enters the glass with a dense purple color and ruby reflections. Immediately aromas of ripe sour cherries, black currants and elderberries appear. Wonderful barrique nuances complement the bouquet.

On the palate, Delheim's Grand Reserve enchants with plenty of power, firm yet elegant tannins and vital, lively acidity.

Vinification of the Grand Reserve from Delheim

The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are crushed and fermented in stainless steel tanks under temperature control. After one month on the full lees, the wine is placed in new French barriques for 17 months.
