Cooperative Saint Saturnin's elegant Le Grand Rêve Pays d'Herault Mont Baudile glows bright purple in the glass. This French cuvée flatters the glass with wonderfully complex notes of black cherries, blueberries, plums and damsons. These are joined by hints of dark chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon.
Le Grand Rêve Pays d'Herault Mont Baudile from Cooperative Saint Saturnin is ideal for all wine connoisseurs who like it dry. However, it is never sparse or brittle, but round and smooth. On the tongue, this balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly velvety texture. Due to its concise fruit acidity, Le Grand Rêve Pays d'Herault Mont Baudile is fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this red wine from the Languedoc wine region finally inspires with considerable length. Once again, hints of black cherry and blackberry show.
Vinification of Le Grand Rêve Pays d'Herault Mont Baudile by Cooperative Saint Saturnin
The starting point for Cooperative Saint Saturnin's premium and wonderfully balanced Le Grand Rêve Pays d'Herault Mont Baudile cuvée is Carignan, Garnacha and Syrah grapes. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, Le Grand Rêve Pays d'Herault Mont Baudile is aged for another 12 months in French oak quarter barrels.
