Vinification of Château Smith Haut Lafitte Le Petit Haut Lafitte Blanc
The basis for the balanced Le Petit Haut Lafitte Blanc from Bordeaux is grapes of the Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon varieties. Naturally, Le Petit Haut Lafitte Blanc is also shaped by the climate and viticultural style of Pessac-Léognan. In the best sense of the word, this French wine can be described as an Old World wine that presents itself in an exceptionally impressive manner. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After it ends, Le Petit Haut Lafitte Blanc can continue to harmonize for several months on the fine lees.
