Marrenon is an association of about 600 winegrowers in the south of the Rhône appellations Ventoux and Luberon. In the immediate vicinity of Provence, the Marennon cooperative is one of the leading wine producers in the region.

The impressive mountain ranges, the Luberon in the south with about 1000m and the even higher Ventoux in the north, shape the typical character of these appellations. The peculiarity of the terroir of Marrenon is the lower day-night temperature gradient at high altitudes, calcareous soil structures and, last but not least, the famous mistral that passes through the valleys. All these factors come together like a mosaic to form the character and personality of Marrenon wines.

The variety of soils is composed of:
- Boulder limestone
- Pebbles
- cobalt-oxide rock
They form the ideal breeding ground for the main grape varieties typical of the region, Syrah and Grenache, as well as for the white Vermentino.
