Light-footed and multi-layered, this creamy and dense white wine presents itself on the palate. Due to its concise fruit acid, the Milmat Reserva Branco is exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this white wine from the wine-growing region of Alentejo finally convinces with considerable reverberation.

Vinification of the Mainova Milmat Reserva Branco

The basis for the elegant Milmat Reserva Branco from Alentejo are grapes from the grape varieties Antao Vaz, Arinto and Verdelho. The development of the grapes for this wine from Antao Vaz, Arinto and Verdelho is influenced by the climate of the growing region to an extent that cannot be denied. In Alentejo, the grapes thrive in a warm climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly well ripened grapes and a rather high must weight. After the hand harvest, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in small wood at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by 12 months of aging in oak barrels.

Food recommendation for the Mainova Milmat Reserva Branco

Drink this white wine from Portugal best moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C as an accompanying wine to lamb stew with chickpeas and dried figs, spinach gratin with almonds or cod with cucumber-mustard vegetables.
