With the Calmel & Joseph Minervois comes a first-class red wine in the swirled glass. In this it reveals a wonderfully dense, crimson color. This French cuvée shows wonderfully expressive notes of dried plums, dried fruit, morello cherries and raisins in the glass. These are joined by hints of juniper, Mediterranean herbs and lovage.

This dry red wine from Calmel & Joseph is just right for people who like their wine dry. The Minervois already comes quite close to this, it was vinified with just 2.2 grams of residual sugar. This dense red wine is full-bodied and multi-layered on the palate. Due to its vital fruit acidity, the Minervois reveals itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of the Languedoc finally convinces with a beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the soils dominated by sandstone and clay.

Vinification of the Calmel & Joseph Minervois

The powerful Minervois from France is a cuvée, made from the grape varieties Grenache and Syrah. In Languedoc, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of sandstone and clay. After the grape harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by a maturation .
