Pinot Noir - Black Stallion Estate

The Pinot Noir from Black Stallion Estate from the North American wine-growing region of Los Carneros in Napa Valley is a varietally pure, elegant and aromatic red wine. 

In the glass, this wine presents a deep ruby color with purple highlights. The nose delights in an expressive bouquet that reveals aromas of juicy black cherries, ripe plums and freshly picked raspberries - complemented by floral notes of rose petals and spicy hints. On the palate, this California red wine has a balanced acidity that harmonizes perfectly with the silky texture. The fullness of fruit also comes through beautifully, allowing itself to be taken in by the soft tannins. A long finish concludes this red wine. 

Vinification of the Black Stallion Pinot Noir

The grape material for this classic Californian Pinot Noir comes from vineyards Napa Valley - Los Carneros. After harvest, the grapes are selected and carefully fermented in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, this red wine is aged in new French oak barrels.

This dry red wine from California is an excellent companion to braised beef, duck breast in red wine sauce and to selected sausage and cheese specialties.
