More information about Rosé Western Cape - KWV

KWV's Rosé Western Cape from the Western Cape displays a bright, vibrant rosé color in the swirled glass. This South African wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with 4.9 grams of residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this South African naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all dryness. Aroma does not necessarily need a lot of sugar. On the tongue, this balanced rosé wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. Due to the moderate fruit acidity, the Rosé Western Cape flatters with a soft palate feeling, without at the same time lacking in juicy liveliness. The final of this youthful rosé wine from the wine-growing region of the Western Cape, more precisely from the Western Cape, finally thrills with good reverberation.

Vinification of the Rosé Western Cape from KWV

The balanced Rosé Western Cape from South Africa is a cuvée, made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Shiraz. After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Rosé Western Cape can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months....

Food recommendation for KWV Rosé Western Cape

This South African wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to spaghetti with caper and tomato sauce, potato pan with salmon or vegetable salad with beetroot.
