More information about Rouge Languedoc Iv Generation - Herpe Paul

The barrel-aged Rouge Languedoc Iv Generation from the Languedoc-Roussillon wine-growing region reveals itself in the glass in a bright purple red. Poured into a red wine glass, this Old World red wine displays wonderfully expressive aromas of sour cherry, blueberry, blackberry and currant, rounded off by pepper, vanilla and chocolate contributed by its maturation in wooden casks.

Herpe Paul Rouge Languedoc Iv Generation presents itself to the wine lover as wonderfully dry. This red wine never appears rustic or austere, as one might expect from a wine. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced red wine is wonderfully silky and fleshy. The finish of this red wine from the Languedoc-Roussillon wine region ultimately convinces with a lovely aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral nuances from the limestone- and clay-dominated soils.

Vinification of Herpe Paul Rouge Languedoc Iv Generation

This balanced red wine from France is made from the grape varieties Carignan, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah. In Languedoc-Roussillon, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay and limestone soils. After the grape harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery without delay. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and large wooden vats at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, Rouge Languedoc Iv Generation can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for several months.
