A family and two wineries in Piedmont

The family...

already since 1871 the Sartirano family has been firmly anchored in the wine trade. The first step was taken in 1910 by Giovanni Sartirano, who set up the distribution structure alongside the wine production.
in 1946 the business was expanded by two sons, Pietro and Giovanni Sartirano, with the sole mission of always vinifying high quality wine.
Over the years the winery has been modernized and in the late 80's Guido and Paolo gave new impetus to the Sartirano winery.
in 2002, the Sartirano family expanded further and today owns a large wine cellar - of which about 70% is underground. The storage capacity includes more than 15,000 hectoliters, the wood aging cellar and the bottled wine warehouse.

The two wineries...

Cantine San Silvestro

in 1973 the name Cantine San Silvestro was added to the already existing company. In 2002, the Ghercina estate was added. The San Silvestro winery is now located there.

Costa di Bussia

in 1988, the Costa di Bussia - Tenuta Arnulfo winery was purchased with its 27 hectare estate. The vineyards are all south-facing and this estate includes one of the most famous Barolo sites: Monforte d'Alba.

The line Serre dei Roveri

With this, the Sartirano family of winemakers wants to offer world-renowned Piedmontese wines for a reasonable price, so that everyone can enjoy the wonderful pleasure. The Serre dei Roveri wines include Barolo, Barbera and Gavi as well as Barbaresco and Moscato d'Asti. This allows Sartirano to express each typical character of the grape variety and give insight into the Piedmont region.
