The barrel-aged San Silvestro Barolo Patres from the wine-growing region of Piedmont is a dense ruby red in the glass. This Italian red also has a garnet red color. After the first swirl, this red wine reveals a high viscosity, which can be seen in clear stained glass windows at the edge of the glass. The nose of this red wine from Piedmont delights with nuances of morello cherry, mulberry, plum and damson. If we trace the aromas further, cinnamon, dark chocolate and black tea are added.
