Seebrich family - at home in Nierstein

The Seebrich winery was founded in 1783 and has been family-owned ever since. Currently, two generations work hand in hand, continuing the fruitful family tradition. Their talent, knowledge, care and skill, as well as dedication and passion for viticulture, have characterized the Seebrich family ever since and this is reflected in the quality of their wines. Nierstein was mentioned in a document as early as 742, which means that here in the Rhine-Hessian region we can look back on a long and eventful history that is closely connected with wine. Also the already recognized the potential of this area and planted here their wines. Weingut Seebrich currently cultivates 13 hectares of vineyards, the largest part of this area is located in the famous location on the "Red Slope".

The majority of the vineyards are located on the "Roter Hang"

The Niersteiner Rote Hang, geologically Niersteiner Horst, forms a spectacular elevation about one hundred meters high and seven kilometers long.
The vines that grow in this exceptional site produce particularly delicate, finely fruity and mineral wines with good storage potential. The wines are characterized by the terroir of the red clay-sandstone and therefore develop an unmistakable character.
