Veuve Ambal is the largest producer of Crémant de Bourgogne. The company was founded in 1898 by Marie Ambal in Rully to grow into a large group of companies, which today also includes the sparkling wine brands Rivarose, André Delorme and Prosper Masfoux. Veuve Ambal is still run by the founding family, the current directors being Eric Piffaut and his son Aurélien.

The winery building of Veuve Ambal

The estate's vineyard area covers 250 hectares, spread over 6 different terroirs. Here, of course, attention is also paid to sustainable and environmentally friendly cultivation to keep the impact on nature as low as possible. The main grape varieties grown are Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Aligoté.
