Ideally poured into a sparkling wine glass, this Old World crémant displays wonderfully expressive aromas of plum, morello cherry, black cherry and plum, rounded out by dark chocolate, gingerbread spice and vanilla.

Vinification of the Veuve Ambal Millésimé Brut Crémant de Bougogne
The basis for Veuve Ambal's premium and wonderfully elegant Cuvée Millésimé Brut Crémant de Bougogne is Aligoté, Chardonnay, Gamay and Pinot Noir grapes. When the perfect physiological ripeness is assured, the grapes for Millésimé Brut Crémant de Bougogne are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective machines. After the harvest, the grapes arrive quickly at the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks and bottle fermentation at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
