Small but fine

In South Tyrol, in Caldaro - Kaltern, nestled in the hilly landscape between vineyards, surrounded by the Alps, on the famous South Tyrolean Wine Road, is the winery Tenuta Ritterhof. This small but dedicated winery has been owned by the Roner family from Tramin - Termeno since 1999. The winery is managed by Ludwig Kaneppele, husband of Karin Roner, owner and manager of the Roner company, famous for its distillates.

The knowledge and traditions passed down through generations, striving for harmony between nature and modern wine technologies, favored by Mediterranean climate and soil conditions, are the basis for the fruity white wines and full-bodied red wines of the Tenuta Ritterhof winery. The grapes come from the estate's own 7.5 hectares of vineyards and from 35 hectares of other vineyards that are exclusively cultivated by contracted winegrowers. They are vinified in the winery, which was completely modernized and renovated in 2012. The resulting wines are also characterized by their particularly varietal flavor profile.
