The Aimery Cabernet Sauvignon IGP from Sieur d'Arques impresses with summery berry-fruity aromas, peppered with fine peppery notes. Elegant tannins and a great structure make this Cabernet Sauvignon from France's Languedoc- Roussillon a red wine that is simply fun to drink.
Vinification/Production
Founded in 1946, the French winegrowers' cooperative Sieur d'Arques is one of the most important wine producers in the region around Limoux. Four terroirs located on the Mediterranean Sea with a wide variety of soil, temperature and precipitation characteristics offer Sieur d'Arques winemakers a rich repertoire for winemaking creativity. Only selected Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are used in the production of the Aimery line Cabernet Sauvignon.
Tasting notes/ Degustation
The Aimery Cabernet Sauvignon comes into the glass in a beautiful, strong red. Its bouquet immediately appears fruity and reveals aromas of currants and red fruits. In addition, there are subtle notes of pepper that harmoniously round out the varietal characteristics of this Cabernet Sauvignon. Overall, the Aimery Cabernet Sauvignon from Sieur d'Arques appears balanced, with elegant tannins and a very smooth structure. A wine that is simply fun to drink!
