More information about Au Cler Côtes de Gascogne IGP - Dominique Ferret

This French cuvée reveals wonderful notes of lychee, apple, pear and gooseberry in the glass. In addition, there are hints of other fruits.

This French wine delights with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine in the upper price range, this French wine enchants with its fine balance despite its dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily require sugar. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. In the finish, this white wine from the wine-growing region Gascogne finally inspires with good length. There are again hints of apple.

Vinification of the Au Cler Côtes de Gascogne by Dominique Ferret

The elegant Au Cler Côtes de Gascogne from France is a cuvée, made from the grape varieties Colombard and Ugni Blanc. After the hand harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn off.
