The ripe Sangiovese fruit has great potential, a fact recognized by Leo Bruni as early as the 1950s when he gradually transformed the farm with livestock and agriculture into a winery by 1973. Today, Bruni stands like a family winery from a picture book. For the twin sons Marco and Moreno, the path to the family winery was clear from a young age. Right after their oenological training, the two brothers took over the 40 hectares of well-maintained vineyards and upheld their father's uncompromising quality standards. With a lot of "Passione" and modern cellar techniques, they manage to continuously improve the quality of the wines and thereby gain remarkable international significance. Especially with the Morellino di Scansano Marteto, Bruni sets standards – multifaceted fruit, deep, soft, wonderfully elegant. One of the best white wines in Italy is the outstanding Vermentino with a small Viognier component. The exceptional Grenache, which has been awarded 3 glasses in Gambero Rosso, is particularly worth recommending. The wines of Bruni impress with a lot of fruit combined with mature and harmonious acidity structure, embodying Morellino di Scansano and Maremma in perfection.
