More information about Baronesque Cuvée Noble - Bernard Massard

This single varietal French wine reveals wonderfully complex notes of blueberries, mulberries, blackberries and black currants in the glass. These are joined by hints of vanilla, oriental spices and gingerbread spice.

On the palate, Bernard Massard's Baronesque Cuvée Noble opens pleasantly aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. The Baronesque Cuvée Noble can rightly be described as particularly fruit-driven and velvety, having been vinified with a wonderfully mellow flavor profile. On the tongue, this well-balanced red wine is characterized by an immensely melting and dense texture. With moderate fruit acidity, the Baronesque Cuvée Noble flatters with a soft palate feel without lacking freshness. The final of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of the Languedoc finally captivates with beautiful reverberation.

Vinification of the Baronesque Cuvée Noble by Bernard Massard

The basis for the balanced Baronesque Cuvée Noble from the Languedoc are grapes from the grape variety Alicante Bouschet. After the hand harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Baronesque Cuvée Noble is left to mature on its fine lees for several months.

Food recommendation for the Baronesque Cuvée Noble by Bernard Massard
