This dry red wine from Château les Fontenelles is perfect for wine drinkers who like it absolutely dry. The Bergerac Rouge already comes quite close to this, it was vinified with just 0.1 grams of residual sugar. This dense red wine is full-bodied and multifaceted on the palate. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Bergerac Rouge presents itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this red wine from the Bergerac wine-growing region finally inspires with good length. There are again hints of pineapple and mango.

Vinification of Château les Fontenelles Bergerac Rouge

The basis for the powerful Bergerac Rouge from Bergerac are grapes from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. After the grape harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in large wood at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by a maturation of 10 months in oak barriques.
