The barrel-aged Borgogne Chardonnay from the Burgundy winegrowing region presents itself in the glass in a bright light red. The first nose of the Borgogne Chardonnay reveals nuances of apricots, bananas and brioche. Hay notes from barrel aging join the fruity aspects of the bouquet.
This French wine impresses with its elegantly dry taste profile. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a true quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities and thus, despite all its dryness, this Frenchman delights with the finest balance. Excellent flavor does not necessarily require residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced white wine is wonderfully creamy and dense. On the finish, this white wine from the Burgundy winegrowing region ultimately delights with a beautiful length. Hints of brioche and apricot appear again. Vinification of Les Heritiers Saint Genys Borgogne Chardonnay
This balanced white wine from France is vinified from the Pinot Noir grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Burgundy. Here, the vines drive their roots deep into limestone soils. After the grape harvest, the grapes are brought to the press house immediately. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by 16 months of aging in oak barriques.
